for the last year i have been obsessed with joan didion. ever since picking up the wonderful 'year of magical thinking' i have searched out all her other work so that i can immerse myself in her fabulously poigniant bohemian life.
always a lovely read even when dealing with topics such as death, murder, and depression.
(she writes happy stuff too!)

I am also addicted to her work. I love her language, the fabulous distance, and the truly intimate way in which she regards things, places, people, processes, is so wonderful, so clear.
I bought the collected non-fiction, We Tell Eachother Stories In Order To Live. If you did not read it yet, I can highly recommend it.
Bye,
J
